Their Story

Windy Springs Farm grows seasonal produce, specializing in sweet corn and many of your other favorites including; tomatoes, peppers, zucchini, eggplant, cantaloupe, watermelon, pumpkin, peaches, cherries, apples, hay, and straw.

Wilmer Mood grew up on a family farm in Plumsteadville. In 1962 he wanted to venture out on his own and purchased a parcel of land along Myers Road in Quakertown. Wilmer started out as a “huckster” as described by his son Matt, selling produce off of the back of his truck. In the early '70s he opened his stand on Rt. 663. Today the farm is run by his sons Tom and Matt and wife Donna.
