Souderton and Telford both offer a quality of life that is unmatched.
We have a great school district with several neighborhood elementary schools in Souderton. They offer the students a full line of programs and athletics.
The Indian Valley Public Library offers a variety of programs for young and old. If your mental image of a library is a sleepy, dusty building with grouchy librarians, you have not been to our Indian Valley Public Library! It is truly the vibrant heart of our community. Check out their website and sign up for their e-newsletter to stay current.
Healthy living is an important element of life in the boroughs and the Indian Valley region.
For example, the Moyer Indoor Outdoor 2009 5K Race, Kids Run & Fitness Walk and Fit Fest 2009 on Wednesday, July 8 is a favorite summer event.
Along with the 5K, Moyer Indoor Outdoor will be hosting a community Fit Fest. Be sure to stop under the big tent and check out many local Health & Wellness professionals. They will be providing health screenings and demonstrations including Blood Pressure Screenings, Men and Women’s Health Topics, Stress Management, Stroke Information and Prevention, Fitness for the whole family, The D.A.R.E Car and MUCH MORE!

The Univest Grand Prix presents downtown Souderton to the world.
As professional bicycle race featuring teams from around the world, the race is followed by an international audience. To satisfy the fans around the world, the race is broadcast on a sports channel, Universal Sports, locally on WFMZ and post race on Comcast.
The camera crews ride motorcycles and helicopters to film the racers. The local, regional, national and international audience sees downtown Souderton and the surrounding communities in the background.

The real excitement is at the start and finish lines in downtown Souderton. Last year, as the exhausted racers poured out the last of their energy on multiple laps on the final loops through the borough, the cheering crowds forgot about the pouring rain. The excitement was palatable.
Plan to come into Souderton to enjoy a full day of excitement and fun on Saturday, September 12, 2009. From starting the day with the Cyclosportif to the community festival in the Univest Plaza to the kids’ race, the day is busy for everyone in the family.
