The Indian Valley Chamber of Commerce is a vital partner with the Souderton Telford Main Streets. Where the Main Streets program focuses on the business community in two small communities, the Chamber is the link to the larger Indian Valley Region.

Whereas the businesses within the boroughs cannot survive if their only customers are from the boroughs, the partnership with the Chamber opens up opportunities to doing networking with businesses and customers in the Indian Valley and beyond.

"We are all part of a regional economy" is a favorite quote from the Main Streets Manager.

The businesses in the two downtowns understand that as they participate in the Chamber's restauarant festival at the Indian Valley Country Club or at the annual Chamber golf outing.

The Indian Valley Chamber of Commerce participates in ribbon-cuttings held by the STMS Ecomomic Restructuring Committee. New businesses receive a complimentary membership for their first year open. The Young Professional's Network frequently holds their mixers at downtown restaurants. 

The two programs compliment one another and are proud of their relationship.

Of course, having Sharon Minninger, the Executive Director of the Indian Valley Chamber of Commerce, on the STMS Board of Directors assures smooth cooperation.
