A treasured institution of the Souderton community suffered a devistating fire on the night of June 19. Mayor John Reynolds eloquently spoke of the affects of the fire as well as the community response. He has graciously allowed us to post his letter to the editors of the local papers. He said it all.

Another local resident, Staci Landis, captured the fire in photographs, which she posted on her blog. Not only do her photos capture the strange beauty of the fire and the hard work of the firemen but her comments on the blog talk about the heroism of the first responders.
