The 2007 Annual Holiday Bazaar will be held at the Souderton Mennonite Homes on Friday and Saturday, November 9 and 10. On Friday the Bazaar will be open from 9 am to 6 pm and on Saturday it will be open from 9 am to 3 pm.

The Holiday Bazaar will feature crafters, baked goods and a chance to shop at The Corner Store. Don't miss the famous Oyster Stew being served in the Apple Orchard Cafe.

Twice a year, a beautiful Victorian home at 53 N. Main Street in Telford is magically transformed into a Victorian Boutique. Crafters and artisans bring their most breathtaking items for a few weeks of display and sale.

For the past 20 years, this magical transformation takes place with little fanfare and an extensive mailing list. Shoppers come from the tri-state region to find unique gifts and home decor items.

The efforts of The Souderton-Telford Main Streets program over the past year have earned it recognition for commercial district revitalization by meeting standards for performance set by the National Trust Main Street Center .

STMS joins 650 other Main Street revitalization programs nationally recognized as 2007 Accredited National Main Street Programs.

This national accreditation means Souderton Telford Main Street program is meeting National Trust Main Street Center standards. Doug Loescher, director of National Trust Main Street Center said, "The organizations named each year as National Main Street Programs are those that have demonstrated the skills and comprehensive perspective needed to succeed in Main Street revitalization."
