It is time to consider where we have been and where we
are going as an organization.
Souderton-Telford Main Streets is five years old and we
are at the end of our original five-year plan. It is time to review what we
have accomplished and what is ahead.
To that end, all committee volunteers and
anyone interested in participating as we plan our goals for the next five years
is invited to attend the Quarterly Board of Directors meeting on Thursday,
August 21 at the Souderton-Telford Main Streets office. We are requesting an
RSVP so we can provide food and refreshments. We have a busy, productive agenda for the evening.

Telford Borough has received word that we have won the
coveted Montgomery Revitalization Award from Montgomery County. This award recognizes successful
revitalization projects and programs throughout the county. The Telford
Marketplace is an outstanding example of multiple levels of government, the
Souderton-Telford Main Streets volunteers, and private businesses coming together
to make a substantial, positive change in their community.
As part of that ongoing partnership, we are proud to
announce that Congressman Charles Dent will be coming to Telford to present a
check for $245,000 to Telford Borough. These funds will be used pay a portion
of the renovation work that was done on the rail buildings and the construction
of the pavilion.
Plan to join Souderton-Telford
Main Streets and Telford Borough officials on Thursday, August 28th
at 10 am. We will congregate under the pavilion next to Telford Treats by the
Tracks to celebrate Congressman Dent’s assistance with our project.
The Congressman enjoyed his visit in June when he came
to the ribbon-cutting for the Marketplace. He especially enjoyed the informal
time he had to chat with everyone after the photo opportunity. Consequently,
we have included the same informal interaction with the Congressman after the check
presentation ceremony.
So come celebrate the mosaic of funding that made the
Telford Marketplace possible and spend some time talking to one of our
Washington, D.C. representatives.

Don't delay! Get your tickets to "Reefer Madness" before they are gone.
Last year, the Montgomery Theater sold out "The Full Monty" before the show opened. The annual musical always is popular and this show promises to go just as fast.
In fact, they have added Saturday afternoon matinees at 3 pm to accommdoate the demand for tickets! Go see a matinee show and enjoy a relaxing dinner at one of the many fine restaurants in Souderton and Telford afterward.
Order your tickets online and you can have the bragging rights to say, "I loved "Reefer Madness" in Souderton."
