Marketplace at Telford Station

The Marketplace at Telford Station is an award winning project that has really had an impact on the Borough of Telford. The forlorn SEPTA train station and freight building were sitting unused in the core of town.

The Design Committee elaborated on the initial idea propsed in the revitalization plan to create an town center. With help from the Borough staff and funding from the County and the Borough, the parking lot was expanded by a third and the buildings were renovated and restored. A pavillion was built and a fountain added. The Economic Restructuring Committee recruited businesses for the buildings. The Promotions Committee run the Indian Valley Farmers's Market from July through October and the Field to the Table Food Festival each July.
