River to River Bike Ride

A growing tradition in the Indian Valley is the annual River-to-River Bike ride. The last Saturday of each July, cycling enthusiasts enjoy a great
day of riding through bucolic farmland, small towns and along shaded scenic country roads.

Riders ride the corridor between the Delaware and Schuykill Rivers through two of Pennsylvania's most historic counties- Bucks and Montgomery.

Trek lightly traveled roads adjacent to the scenic Route 113 corridor, through small, quaint towns and villages with farms, churches and businesses dating back to the 1700s.

Designed like a figure eight, the River to River Bicycle Ride route begins and ends in downtown Souderton at the Souderton Mennonite Church, 105 W. Chestnut Street.  Choose 25-, 50-, 75- or 100-mile routes through varied terain.

The proceeds from this race goes to Heritage Conservancy. They have been working with the communities along Route 113 to preserve and promote the wonderful quality of life, rich heritage and beautiful mixture of farmland and open spaces. Watch as we develop some enticing heritage tourism material over the next year or so.
