Economic Restructuring

The purpose of the Economic Restructuring Committee is to strengthen our existing businesses and attract new businesses that enhance the business climate in both towns.

They achieve their pupose by developing goals and measurable outcomes. Each year, they create a work plan to focus their efforts into quantifiable plan of action. Read through the 2009 workplan to see their current plan.

Meetings

The Economic Restructuring Committee meets the second Thursday of each month at the STMS Office, at 8 a.m. Check the calendar for changes or cancellations.

Who should be a member of this committee?

This committee is chaired by Matt Rittenhouse. He is a financial planner with Whipple and Associates. Other committee members include bankers, realtor, an assessor, an insurance professional and an administrator from teh school district.

This committee has a need for more financial, insurance and real estate professionals as well as marketing, design and other  professionals who welcome a thriving business community.

Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies

The Economic Restructuring Committee holds regular ribbon-cutting ceremonies to promote and welcome new businesses to Souderton-Telford Main Streets.

Tools
