Free Training for your Employees through the WEDnetPA GFT Program

Pennsylvania offers qualified employers* the opportunity to train new and existing employees through the Guaranteed Free Training (GFT) Program offered through WEDnetPA.

The WEDnetPA-managed GFT Program offers two training programs. These programs give qualified in-state businesses and out-of-state companies relocating to the economic-friendly business climate of Pennsylvania the opportunity to train new and existing employees.

The first program, Basic Skills Training, provides funding for training in a variety of basic and entry-level skills. Information Technology Training, the second program, provides funding for training in a variety of information technology and advanced applied manufacturing subjects. The Economic Restructuring Committee has been working for the past number of years to gather and create the tools new businesses need to start out as strong as possible.

The Small Business Development Centers specialize in different types of businesses. Ask questions to determine which one best matches your needs. The Montgomery County SCORE provides experienced professionals to guide you through the process of opening or expanding a business.
