Pent Brothers moved their cigar factory from Central Avenue to this new building in 1901, then two more cigar companies through 1925.

After the collapse of the cigar industry, many cigar factories were converted to clothing manufacturing. Ziegler & Woolrich Clothing operated in this building in 1926. Souderton Towel Mills then began producing quality products and was eventually bought out by Cheltenham Towel Mills.
