114 and 120 East Broad Street. 

These buildings were constructed in the 1880s by William Hunsberger, a member of one of the founding families of Souderton, and town rival to Henry O. Souder.

The building at 120 East Broad was first a hardware store. The most current noteworthy features of this landmark building are the mansard roof, the square shape of the building and the tall, narrow windows; indicators of the Second Empire style. Unfortunately, the third story tower from which residents gazed in awe over the surrounding landscape is no longer in existence.
 
The building at 114 E. Broad was formerly Hunsberger’s home.
